WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS AFTER LOSING TEETH?

After losing teeth, your tooth replacement options include:

  • Single-Tooth Implants: Surgically placed implants and custom-made crowns replace individual missing teeth for a seamless and natural-looking result.
  • Multiple Teeth Implants: Individual implants support crowns or bridges to replace multiple adjacent missing teeth with stability and functionality.
  • All-on-4 Implants: Four implants support a full arch of teeth, offering a secure and permanent solution for complete tooth loss in an arch.
  • Implant-Supported Dentures: Dentures anchored to implants provide enhanced stability and comfort compared to traditional removable dentures.
  • Full Mouth Reconstruction: Comprehensive treatment involving multiple implants and prosthetic teeth restores full function and aesthetics for extensive tooth loss.

IMPLANT SOLUTIONS WE OFFER TO REPLACE YOUR MISSING TEETH

  • Single-Tooth Implants: Ideal for replacing individual missing teeth, single-tooth implants offer a permanent solution that looks and feels natural.
  • All-On-4: All-On-4 provides a full arch restoration by using only four implants per arch, offering stability and functionality for patients missing multiple teeth.
  • Snap-In Implant Dentures: Snap-in implant dentures offer a secure and stable alternative to traditional dentures, utilizing dental implants to anchor the dentures in place for improved comfort and function.
  • HOW IT WORKS:

THE DENTAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT AND RESTORATION PROCESS

    Initial Consultation

During the initial consultation, the dentist evaluates your oral health and discusses treatment options for dental implants.

    Treatment Planning

A comprehensive treatment plan is created, outlining the placement and restoration process tailored to your specific needs.

    Implant Placement

Dental implants are surgically placed into the jawbone, providing a stable foundation for replacement teeth.

    Healing Period

After implant placement, a healing period of several months allows the implants to integrate with the jawbone through a process called osseointegration.

    Restoration

Once the implants have fused with the bone, custom-made prosthetic teeth or dental restorations are securely attached to the implants, restoring function and aesthetics to your smile.

    MEET OUR DOCTOR

    Dr. Evan Matthysse

Dr. Evan Matthysse attended Penn State University, where he received his undergraduate degree in business. He then headed to NYU for Dental School before completing his year-long General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Matthysse proceeded to spend another two years completing a Postdoctoral Implantology Fellowship at NYU and practiced in New York City. In 2020, he decided that it was time to make a change and moved out to Austin.

Dr. Matthysse just recently achieved the FAGD accreditation, one of the highest awards a dentist can receive. An FAGD accreditation requires 500 hours of education after the doctoral degree and residency. It also requires the dentist to pass an exam that rivals the difficulty of board certification exams, demonstrating Dr. Matthysse's expertise and proficiency in his craft. Less than 6% of dentists nationwide have accomplished this honor.

Additionally, as an Associate Fellow of AAID (the American Academy of Implant Dentistry), he brings a level of excellence and precision to implant dentistry that few can match.

Did you know that over 170 million individuals in the US have at least one missing tooth?

If a tooth is left out of the mouth for an extended period, the surrounding bone starts to reabsorb, leading to challenges and increased costs when replacing the tooth.
